| holy shit I never thought I'd be on this again. I'm just sick of a bunch of shit and I'm just gonna go on a big rant here. First subject: Al Gore. I believe that Southpark's creation of ManBearPig is a metaphor for global warming. Gore is using fear of immenent world danger to score some votes. Come on, what the fuck, dude? That's like a fat chick convincing a dude to fuck her on Prom night because it will be the last chance he will ever have to get laid. Next topic: a drastic change in religious perspective and the fundafuckingmental problem with all of them. First off, let me start by giving a quote from George Carlin. Carlin states the irony that the first commandment is thou shalt not kill, yet more people have been killed in the name of God than under any other cause. The fundamental problem is that every religion believes their own to be the "correct" religion and that anyone who does not share their perspective is inferior to their own. Iraq for example, we are killing over there in order to prevent killing on our shores, and God forbid it would be a horrible thing if they came over here and started killing our people. But wait... what are we doing? We are doing to them the exact same thing that we fear may happen to us. The irony is fully tangible. Alan Jones says it best, that believers of whatever faith are basically assholes. Those with no faith or belief are what he calls crazy. He goes on to say it how it is. It is much better to have a sane intolerant asshole than a crazy intolerant asshole. What we have here is the double helix. We're all a bunch of assholes, its just a matter of making it bearable and to make it work. In essence, we all may be right or wrong, the importance is not what we believe theologically but how we can work together to make the world work better physiologically. In essence, should that one flaw in all religion somehow disappear, peace will come. Not total world peace, but a significantly large step toward it. Moving on: America in general. Wow. We are a bunch of closed minded, intolerant, pompous, materialstic fat fucks. Plain and simple. Not in terms of necessarily individuals, but more in terms of a nation as a whole. We ask what the fuck is wrong with the world when Britney Spears flipping her shit and going crazy makes more of a headline than a falling economy and a rising unemployment rate? The question isn't what's wrong with the world. The majority of the rest of the civilized world is up on their shit. They know whats up. They realize that popular culture and entertainment is second to the basic issues of wellbeing. The real question is what the hell is up with the United States? Have we gotten that comfortable with our status quo and the ablility to spoil ourselves and each other that we have forgotten that there's something working a fuckload more than we are to allow us to keep on doing this? It's not only the United States Government failing the people here, dammit. It's the people failing the government. Now in no way am I saying that I fully stand behind the government. I believe that if the founding fathers would come check out the white house today, they'd be thinking, "oh shit, what happened? This place is fucked." Oh shit. did I just renounce the U.S. Government? Yeah I did and I'm not gonna die or go to jail for it. It's a love-hate relationship. While on the more current and recent issues, I may feel our Government has failed us as much as we have failed them, but they have at least been able to continue to supply us with our fundamental freedom of expression and the ability to work outside of your family's profession. Be that as it may, however, I will say that the only reason I am still in this country is because of the desire to acquire a good education, (and to eat some good mexican food while I'm at it). After the degree's, it's "peace out, I'll be back on the American Holidays, fuck you and have a nice day, America". Lastly: Listen to Keller Williams, the Grateful Dead, moe., Perpetual Groove, and Sound Tribe Sector 9 while on acid. It will make your trip. | | |
